Morinville Fire Department

Fire Control Bylaw #2/96

Permits are required for
any and all of the following:


  1. Open Air Fires – permitted in special situations only

  2. Ground Thawing for Utility Lines

  3. Acceptable Fire Pit – 5 year permit, site inspected by the Morinville Fire Department (includes new and existing fire pits)

  4. Fireworks – Only allowed as organized neighbourhood display

    All Permits: $20.00
    Extensions: $10.00
    Fines: $50.00 - $250.00

10125 - 100 Ave.

Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.


Copies of Bylaw #2/96 are available at the Town of Morinville Office.
