Fire Pit Guidelines
Permits are required for fire pits

Fire Control Bylaw #2/96
Permits are required for
any and all of the following:
➡Open Air Fires – permitted in special situations only
➡Ground Thawing for Utility Lines
➡Acceptable Fire Pit – 5 year permit, site inspected by the Morinville Fire Department (includes new and existing fire pits)
➡Fireworks – Only allowed as organized neighbourhood display
All Permits: $20.00
Extensions: $10.00
Fines: $50.00 - $250.00

Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Copies of Bylaw #2/96 are available at the Town of Morinville Office.
